The Function Of The Brake Master Cylinder
The Function Of The Brake Master Cylinder
Safety is always the priority among car owners because protecting passengers lives is very important. Ford like other automakers is very much aware of this so it produces vehicles with a durable and reliable braking system. One of Fords celebrated sport utility vehicles is the Ford F550 because of the powerpacked performance of components under its hood. But what makes Ford F550 appealing is its engine coupled with a highperformance braking system which effectively slows down the car.
Fords braking system includes the Ford F550 brake master cylinder. This components function is to hold the fluid that starts the operation of the entire braking system. The highlypressurized hydraulic brake fluid triggers the pistons and brake calipers to action once the driver presses on the brake pedal. To prevent the insufficient supply of brake fluid due to leaking the brake master cylinder secures the fluid tightly in place.
Most of the braking systems of Ford F550 are divided into two circuits to maximize safety. Each of these two circuits is equipped with two wheels. This setup allows a certain amount of the hydraulic fluid to be conserved even though a leak occurs in one of the circuits. As one circuit is responsible for two wheels then only two wheels lose their braking power. Thus there is enough brake fluid left in the Ford F550 brake master cylinder to supply to the two wheels within the second circuit. Even if that is the case Ford F550 owners should get a replacement brake master cylinder if a leak occurs. The forming of hole or cracks in the cylinder is possible as these storage tanks contain highlypressurized brake fluid. Immediate replacement of the Ford 550 brake master cylinder ensures the efficient operation of the Ford 550s braking system.

The Ferrari California – Carscenes Review
The Ferrari California – Carscenes Review
The Ferrari California is the latest and hottest addition to the fresh generation of Ferraris launched in 2004 with the 612 Scaglietti and joins the Prancing Horses 8cylinder family which has always been defined by both power and performance. It also flanks the flagship 612 Scaglietti in the prestige sporty Grand Tourer segment. The new model will be available exclusively as a convertible with a folding hard top. Both chassis and bodywork are aluminum in line with the rest of the current range. The California will be powered by a new V8 engine mounted for the first time in the midfront position; a Ferrari first.
nbsp;Although sporting quite an ordinary design the Ferrari California seems to be a step forward for the company. For the first time a Ferrari is fitted with a folding metal hardtop a 7speed dualclutch transmission you wont even notice shifting gears and a multilink rear suspension. Independent testing of the car is still months away but it has a good chance to become a GT which is both comfortable and fun to drive.
Set to be unveiled at the upcoming Paris Motor Show in September the car features an aluminum body carbonceramic brakes and the F1Trac traction system outsourced from the gorgeous Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. As per the traditional Ferrari transaxle layout the engine which allows the convertible to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in fewer than 4.0 seconds will be coupled to a 7speed dual clutch transmission that boosts the cars performance while enhancing the driving pleasure improves ride comfort and reduces fuel consumption and emissions. The comfort is additionally enhanced by a new multilink rear suspension system. Brembo brakes featuring carbonceramic material disks as standard guarantee superbly efficient braking.
The obvious stuff evident on these first pictures is a new steering wheel dials seats and entertainment system. Less apparent at first glance is the fourseat layout of the California. Look closely at the first pic and you can see two headrests built into the rear bulkhead. These mean you can configure your California with four seats we wont yet pass judgment on whether it can really seat four or move the seats and have a bigger boot. Ferrari calls it an original 2 concept.
Ferrari has promised it will release more information about the California before the Paris motor show but until then thats all from me Faizan on carscene.org.

The Environmentally Friendly Hybrid Car – Evolution Of The Future
The Environmentally Friendly Hybrid Car – Evolution Of The Future
Following the rapid advancements of the gasoline engine the hybrid car has become extremely popular due to its environmentally friendly proposition. A hybrid car is a means of transportation using two power sources; it uses a rechargeable energy storage system found on board and a fuelled power source as the vehicle’s driving force. The hybrid car pollutes less and uses less fuel.
Tracking the Hybrid Footprints of the Future Road Warrior As early as 1899 Ferdinand Porsche have developed and led the way to the very first working hybridelectric vehicle. Other people followed suit in Ferdinand Porsche’s invention. Many people who became interested in the hybridvehicle concept and experimented with it. The late twentieth century saw rampant environmental pollution issues which drove car manufacturers back to the drawing boards on Hybrid Cars. The hybrid technology was mainly utilized in developing dieselelectric submarines during this interim period. The dieselelectric submarines mainly operate very much the same as a hybrid car. However the submarines main goal was to conserve oxygen rather than spend less fuel and submarines eventually evolved to using nuclear power as a substitute for diesel.
The Hybrid Car The Actual Account of An American First An idealistic inventor Victor Wouk manufactured a hybrid electric and gas motor vehicle that siphoned fuel at half the amount as practically all the other cars being built then. He built the hybrid car 30 years before the Toyota Prius! The account about the hybrid car and its inventor who died in May 2005 at age 86 is unfamiliar among even the most avid fans of the growing hybrid car association. In terms of hybrid car knowledge it is in fact America that should have led all other countries. Wouk said that the government program that he developed about hybrids was unknown to everyone.
The father of the worlds first Hybrid Car Victor Wouk founded and sold two successful electric industrialized companies in the late 1940s and 50s and in 1962 he was approach by Russell Feldman one of the founders of Motorola who recognized the pollution from the automobile as one of the biggest problem of the environment and he wanted to discover the possible solutions with regards to this problem. But his experiment did not work much for the possible solution. Nurturing an idea Wouk pondered the problem throughout the 60s and ultimately reached a clever and clean solution no pun intended. He combined the lowemission benefits of an electric car with the power of a gasoline engine to produce a hybrid vehicle.
Unfortunately Wouk did not get any response to his ideas for creating a hybrid car; and instead became heavily criticized for not believing in a fullelectric system. Charlie Rosen who shared his belief about hybrid cars gave him the chance to prove his ideas of creating the hybrid car as one of the solution to the rapid health cost of automobile pollution.
And hence we see the impressive capabilities of the invention of Wouk the Hybrid Cars is now in the mainstream role of helping to generate less fuel consumption and air pollution.
